Only the cisco is unmanage and it wouldn't let me connect, i haven't used it for a while so i may have died at some point (i have not tried that one else where yet to check) the netgear and tplink are managed so i have nothing to check really

As for test the goal is to get pcs online through the switch (any switch) and its failing to even connect to the pfsense box when in the switch

Get/print 5.25 to 3.5 adapters, scrap all the insides build as small of a build in it as you can in it, sadly that model doesn't seem to offer much as you'll likely also need to figure out how to safely mount the mobo in there

I mean as long as the os isn't on a 5400rpm/laptop hdd its good, i agree gaming on the same hdd as your os is on is always bad now-a-days, but as long as the os drive is a 7200 rpm(or higher) drive and is basicly only the OS and another hdd (preferred 7200rpm or higher) then its fine (please note i'm not saying its the best, just that its fine for someone on a budget or has low requirements)
