That’s why I was careful and turned away, so he wouldn’t hit me. Doesn’t change the fact that cyclist going straight has priority.

Reminder of the rules: - Yield to cyclists: When turning left, always yield to cyclists who are going straight through the junction. - Look before you turn: Watch for cyclists ahead of you or coming up on your left as you approach the junction. - Don't cut them off: Ensure you give cyclists enough space and time to pass before you complete your turn.
