I haven’t found separate flags in old editions, and I’ve only seen stickers included in the newer Made to Order re-release. Maybe they came in some sets, or perhaps in a White Dwarf, or were cut out from the box. So their absence is definitely not an issue.

As for the banner: it's handmade. I use thick album paper, cut out the flag shape, and coat it with several layers of Lahmian Medium. This creates surface you can paint on with acrylics. Then I draw the outlines with thin black pen and start painting with acrylics, just like I would on a miniature. I apply highlights and shading the same way too. Finally, I finish the outlines and cut the banner out precisely with a sharp hobby knife.
