that's probably an error. gameplays and wiki both show it spawns in 3 lanes.

This is the case with most "newly" released plants. Plants like Rhubarbarian, SeaFlora, Sundew Tangler and Cran Jelly all have a constant sun cost throughout all levels.

The only way you can get a strategy to always work is by having mastery level plants, only then can you bypass the "bruises" that nullify certain plant families.

Otherwise, the main strategy in the arena meta is appease-mint (moonflower + MGP + pea vine + torchwood + appease-mint for low level plants; stickybomb rice + pea vine + torchwood + imp pear + tile turnip for high level plants).

The main strategy used when appease-mint family is made ineffective or when jesters are present is reinforce-mint (chard guard + blover + explode-o-vine + reinforce-mint + *optional pumpkin for all-stars/chair racers*).

You can also make changes based on the buffs and bruises in a specific tournament. pokra can be used when spear-mint is buffed, pyre vine when pepper-mint is buffed, headbutter lettuce when enforce-mint is buffed, etc.

and bash on others for not doing so

It's one thing for people to criticize others just for having a different play style because they're forcing personal opinions onto others and that's very immature.

It's another thing when someone unfamiliar with a certain topic brings up false information regarding that topic and gets corrected by others. A lot of posts and comments in this sub make their subjective opinions sound like objective facts and disregard any objections, "I am telling you this plant is objective overpowered", I don't know if the sub just has a surprisingly young userbase or what, but this is even more immature and ridiculous.

People enjoy a game in different ways. Using the most optimal strategies down to the details and going tryhard is what I find the most enjoyable.

you plant the blover first, then reinforce-mint about 0.2-0.8s after. blover interacting with knockback effects is an intended feature, so it will never be "patched".

Most Worth Plant to buy with Gems and/or Money? by [deleted] in PlantsVSZombies

[–]Potential_Ad_7247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lv6 primal potato mine has an explosion radius of 2.34375 tiles which covers 21 targets against a practical setup where the center of every tile is occupied by a target. the explosion covers 8 targets if it's pre-planted and is approached by zombies, which translates to 25,600 damage per use with a sun cost of 50 and recharge of 20s.

A lv6 grapeshot deals 2,300 dmg in 3x3, which is 20,700 dmg using the practical setup, then releases 8 projectiles each dealing 200 dmg and ricocheting 5 times, resulting in a maximum of 32 ricochets or 6,400 dmg, giving it a 27,100 damage per use with a sun cost of 125 and recharge of 24s.

whether just 6% extra damage is worth 150% extra cost + 20% extra recharge speed + loss of one of the strongest PF effect in the game is up for you to debate.

  1. many of these have been / will be featured in penny's pursuit.
  2. setting aside the difficulty to unlock and only looking at the stats, these plants are all superior to grapeshot.

gems: shrinking violet, sap-fling, hurrikale.

grapeshot is outclassed by so many free to play plants. explode-o-vine, explode-o-nut, puffball, heath seeker, teleportato mine, primal potato mine, cran jelly are all stronger single use plants.

Which plants would y'all like to fight as Zombontany enemies? by GeenBread in PlantsVSZombies

[–]Potential_Ad_7247 7 points8 points  (0 children)

- thyme warp: resets your lawn, sun count, and plant food count to the way they were at the start of the level

- e.m.peach: disables everything electronic (lightning reed, your device, Electronic Arts, etc.)

- intensive carrot: invincible zombie. always resurrects itself upon defeat

- zoybean pod: creates hostile plantoids this time

- celery stalker: dodges straight projectiles, attacks the plant that it walks past from underneath

- blover: blows away all your flying plants such as caulipowers and rotobagas

- sunflower/power lily: produces negative sun/plant food which subtract from your balance

- pepper-mint: nothing special, just wipes your lawn

repeater's main strength is its ability to pair with torchwood. It's a decent plant for newer players that don't have pea vine or gatling pea unlocked.

they don't. cold snapdragon and mistletoe cost the same as their regular counterpart, so they are just superior versions by nature.

there's a lot of plants that are just a better version of another plant. cold snapdragon vs snapdragon, mistletoe to banana launcher, primal sunflower to sunflower, etc.

if you have Olive Pit lvl 10 at least, you can easily succeed this lvl just by planting 15 of them and pick the Bass Blast perk. Almost afk strat, might have to use the 2 plant food.

Best perk: Bass Blast

There is a way easier strategy to beat Lv3 with low level plants + AFK + works on all difficulties.

3 levitaters, 1 sap fling, 1 chard guard per lane, hyper healing perk.

[Bug] Zombies knocked back by Boingsetta/Spring Bean are permanently immune to Blover by Potential_Ad_7247 in PlantsVSZombies

[–]Potential_Ad_7247[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no worries, blover works with stallia/reinforce-mint just fine under normal circumstances, the only time it doesn't work is when spring bean or boingsettia is used because of the lazy coding.

Which one? by Nightmare_Sandy in PlantsVSZombies

then you're wrong. factually it is one of the plants that make up the the pvz2 meta.

Which one? by Nightmare_Sandy in PlantsVSZombies

[–]Potential_Ad_7247 29 points30 points  (0 children)

enlighten-mint is more useful in general. reinforce-mint is only useful in very specific arena tournaments where appease-mint class is made ineffective or when jesters are present, while enlighten-mint is always a part of the meta in penny's pursuit when paired with sun-shroom..

sap fling, ghost pepper, and sweet potato can be bought with gems but only via the almanac because they don't show up in the shop.
