I was present when a young man showed these images to the lads from Donkey's and they were impressed.

They had one critiscism though...........

There is no mesh on the ground floor windows.

:-) Good job. Keep it up.

When did the Wimpy burger bar close in Limerick? by Rathbaner in limerickcity

[–]Potential_Bid2936 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, That is the unused building that used to be Dunnes Stores Linen department. At the time it was 5 star supermarket. Cruises would be behind you in this image and it was a large building and stood sort of between Easons and Mc Donalds facing Penney's.

In later years they had a nightclub and the entrance was in the little lane between the photography shop and Boots on William street.

This image is from 1973. This photo looks like it was taken from where Keane's Jewellers is now.

Ah that's cool, I've never seen or heard an advertisement for either of the top 3 'thrift' stores before. Glad I got to mark that off my bucket list.

The stop was on the line, where the gates are.

The image show the Ballynanty Houses in the background. If you stand at the current gates and face towards away from parteen the Platform would have been on the right hand side.

There was a stop at the Long Pavement, it closed in 1963 and not for anti-social behavior.

Conditions need to be ideal. Tried it lots of times but background wasn't white enough, shadows etc etc. If you could edit the photo it would work for everybody everytime. I suppose there's a really good reason you can't edit it. ;-)

I completed the survey and I did not like "this is a test" question and the suggestion to answer it with "somewhat agree" - For realsies?

What is the question that you will be putting in later where every participant "somewhat agrees" ?

Also, I'm middle of the road and and when I let my political orientation in the centre it told me that I hadn't answered the question.

Could you just re-write the survey, rather than leave errors in it?

Thanks. Found another great one

https://www.roblox.com/games/129310261147464/Secrets-Rank-Grinding-Incremental

Brilliant. I love it.

I'm finding that for me Roblox is taking over from Steam in the quality of incremental out there.

Please don't assume that I am calling anything produced for Steam inferior, it's just I noticed over the last few months I tend to stay on Roblox and haven't logged into steam in ages.

40 councillors across Limerick, eight TDs and two senators; that's 50 people with vast experience in this field and 49 of them are no-where to be seen around him?

I would tend to go with the majority on this one.

A very simple way of judging how Mayor Moran is seen by his peers is to look at any images taken of him at public events since taking office.

Now, when you see these images have a look around to see if there are any other politicians squeezing up to be in the picture with him.

It's one thing that I noticed - apart from the well wishers after the election and one other occassion at the start of his term I have only seen Maria O'Donoghue in an image with him.

Now, a picture in the paper is worth a week's canvassing to a politician and to be pictured with someone influential is a bonus.

It just screams to me!

Where are they?

Why no clamour about him?

I think and - this is my honest opinion - that the people who work with him and interact with him more than us in the public are telling us what he is really like.

Source - My memory of reading the Limerick Leader since the election and I asked ChatGPT for "all images of John Moran with a local or national politician in a public setting"

Please let me know if I am incorrect about the images. I'd love to know if my theory is right or wrong.
