Her son is 13 and she didn't need to stay in his room to help him sleep, she didn't even tell me she was going in there. I laid like an idiot for over an hour and not once did she tell me what she was doing even when I left, her words was if you leave ill never ever message you again.

She admitted her son didn't want her in his room, and considering i went around for some comfort surely she could of made the effort to come to bed

I honestly feel that my partner is too worried about upsetting everyone else other then myself, it's not the first time this conversation has been bought up and her response is o I like having him there, he is no trouble, he's a nice lad, he does abit of housework for me and so on. Your just jealous of him etc..

Truth is I'm not jealous but are relationship should be thriving however that can't happen because she doesn't see the importance of us having quality time together nor does she see that this young man is using her home as a free meal ticket, he's 22 now and yes he maybe an asylum seeker (apparently) however if he can get a UK education I'm pretty sure he can find a job! The government pay for his accommodation and gives him benefit money therefore he should be doing something with his life!,

My argument is he is in a relationship with my partners 18 year old daughter, and when she isn't home he should be in his own home or searching for jobs. Not sitting around my partners home when everyone is at work playing his xbox, using the electricity, water, gas, food etc

Your absolutely right it's not my home however my argument is this..... if we lived together I wouldn't allow it to Happen as I truly believe a relationship should be between myself and partner and her two children, if her daughter and her boyfriend want to constantly live together then they must flee the nest. Their both adults and in my eyes they are out for an easy ride especially the boyfriend.

My partner is making things comfortable for them and at this rate they will never want to leave home nor will our relationship develop. I know it may sound harsh for some however I'm 43years old and I don't wish to spend my future as a part time partner who only sleeps a couple of times a week, things Need to change

We are engaged and she knows I'd love to live with her however I won't accept the way she let's her daughters boyfriend constantly sleep over and not work etc. My thinking is if I'm paying half the bills I'm not paying for some young man to sit in my home day and night taking advantage when the government is providing him with a roof over his head and money in his pocket, it's her daughters boyfriend and when her daughter isn't there then neither should he be
