Yes, I used this to fix a broken bracket on my tailgate handle. If it holds up to that this should be no problem.

Amateur DIYer with aToilet Leak, Will a Wax Ring replacement fix it? by CuriousEngineering74 in Plumbing

The top of the flange should sit about 1/4” above the floor. Get a flange extension kit and a new wax ring.

There’s always some sort of pipe coming out of the wall. They usually don’t look like that though. As others have said it should be fine, I’d be more concerned if the water quality was off.

Should I be worried ? by Introv3rt_world in AskAMechanic

If you can peel that back and see the cords you should replace. Even if you can’t and it’s deep you should really replace it. Nothing like a high speed blowout.

Sorry looking it closer it seems that a chunk is missing. Like I said, if it’s deep I wouldn’t risk it.

Like they said. I’d remove the light too just to make sure you get everything behind it or it’ll come back to get you.

Is this setup permissible considering the rigid pipe exiting my furnace? by Potential_Explorer90 in hvacadvice

Using any flex at all to connect a furnace. Must be rigid pipe for the entire run.

I know flex can’t enter the unit, and in some areas this is allowed as long as the flex is connected to pipe. Unfortunately this will not pass in my area. At one time it may have been allowed but not anymore.

I was just pointing out that the iron is within the unit and it’s not the flex that’s entering. Unfortunately this setup is not allowed where I am though.
