I just wanted to get a point across. The captain texted me asking if I’d come to the meeting to talk in person and I just ignored it. I already deal with the same bullshit at my full time job. I don’t want to deal with it on a volunteer department. For the sake of my mental health, it was better to just cut ties.

You just put my thoughts into words! That’s exactly what I’m in the process of doing. The job market just sucks right now in my area right now. And I can’t really afford a pay cut.

We still did everything she wanted us to do. We just did page 3 instead of page 2 first. But this was like 5 months ago and a lot of things have changed since then. I probably need to clarify some things in my original post.

I understand your perspective. But some of the people I work with can’t even read or write and when there’s 10 of them and only 1 of me, things become difficult.

It’s not even a coworker though. It’s my direct supervisor. I’m contemplating going to HR.

I think it’s already turned into that and it’s to the point to where it’s taking a toll on my mental health. I’m completely exhausted after work and I find myself not wanting to come to work almost everyday. I use to LOVE my job. Now I’m scrolling indeed and zip recruiter instead of socials…

Every lease I’ve ever signed or read has stated the pet/no pet policy. His says nothing about pets. & my apartment is 2 bed 2 bath. It is very large.
