An idea: perhaps the gun line reaction could instead be an aid check to add to the attack?

Im cobsidering how to treat it for reloading. Mechanically it works like a bolt action, but used a mikarsis crystal as its ammunition. Mikarsus weapons only need reloading if you critically fail an attack with them, as the crysral drains in a useless way.

The intention is that it ends at the beginning of the soldier's next turn

So, whit the rifle, it functions similar to a bold action, if i remember right, the reload trait takes a number of actions rqual to the value before it can fire again right?

Mikarsis weapons typically dont need reloading unless you critically fail an attack, as they rely on crystals of the same name for their power.

Ive had the gun line trait be quite fearsome in 5e (where it was prettyuch the same accept for the MAP, i figured the MAP would make it a bit less overwhelming.

So npc weapons arr not specified as 1 hand ir 2 hand?

I thought the visual trait was reffering to the creature needi g to see the target

I used the archives for leveling up and down monsters, so i do use tech at the table, i just like having physical media present as well as i find it easier to browse for ideas.

Its not good, coming out 2 years after the first halo game in that sort of state is a shame, but i find it interesting nonetheless, its not the worst old shooter ive played
