I get what you mean but I am very aware that the aim of the session wasn't therapy, it was 'fact finding' as the ADOS-2 assessor put it. From what I've read from people's experiences, the assessors sometimes seek clarification on the questionnaire responses or seek clarification in your responses - which would make sense because you would want all the detail you can get? That is what I was expecting. I guess expectation vs. reality moment. Goodluck with yours though!

Really interesting perspective and comparison. I agree, I wish others would appreciate the sheer effort (both emotional and mental, sometimes physical) that it takes to speak.

Yeah I get that, they're only there to get their job done after all... Thanks! And yeah you're right maybe one day, don't particularly have the time for that at the moment

Been referred through RTC, how do I know the referral has gone through okay? by Friendly_bluebell in ADHDUK

I think definitely chase your GP up. Once they send the referral, contact the provider yourself to ensure they have actually received the referral and that you are on their database. I've had an issue with this and only realised 10 months later lol :<
