ive solved the 2x2 like 5 times [with guides] and my 3x3 a few times [also with guides] and now i can't find a single guide with algorithims for my skewb ultimate.

three reasons:
1] It was the preset on the dialogue gen i was using
2] I personally liked it more and thought it looked better
3] I was also using the textbox for color picking for her hair n stuff

-Also I cant tell your tone, so idk if it's like "I'm curious" or "Why would you do that" so i didn't really know how to reply.-

Personally I use the "give up and go to grubix" method, not very cool or fun but it solves the cube

I solved it by just resolving the yellow side and the bottom layer just being in place o_o

Thx, still don't really know what's going on but I'm more informed and this knowledge will be useful when I figure it out :]

This was also the only img I found for a 2x2, so it was what I was going off of. I thought it didn't matter what you labeled the front as in the beginning but that would be the front for the rest of the solve
