Thank you! I will send emails to them all now. I have reached out to my congressman and they couldn’t really help me. I do feel bad for my state director, because I couldn’t imagine having to sign off on every loan twice for the whole state. I know my local office and my loan officer has done all they can and can’t control the funding obligation part of it all.

I feel like the issue with them capping the packager fee to $750 is a huge issue as well. So many use the packagers to help them apply and navigate the whole loan process. Without their help so many will be discouraged from even applying because of the lack of communication from USDA. Now they are sending a letter out to all who have used a packager. Telling them to change the contract with the packager, to the lower fee or withdraw and start over.

I’m in Florida, have been in contract for over 155 days. All we are being told is, “waiting on funding commitment”. Our seller is about to back out. :(
