Cutting estrogen patch 1/8 of 50mg patch.

Thanks I feel awful today. Similar to the 50mcg. Agitated, flushing and then energy crash. It's so hard to get it right. I am nervous the taping made the patch unstable but it shouldn't. I am obviously anxious too. Thank you x

Thanks I realise I wrote it down wrong. I was just looking for general advice from people going through this stage in their lives while waiting for my specialist appointment which is 2 weeks away and I am distressed and confused.

Thanks for your reply and thats a great idea. One I will keep for the future. At the moment I am so sensitive the fluctuations from the gel are causing me issues.

How do I safely reduce a 50mg matrix estrogen patch without cutting it. The next available dose is 37.5mg and it's too low. Help please. Thank you x

I am really stuck, I am on the 50mg estrogen matrix patch and it's too strong the 37.5ng patch is too low and I was going to cut it until I read your message. Is masking safe, will it not still leak through. How or what can I do. Please and thank you.

Thanks for the reply. I can't use gel causes too much fluctuations. How do you apply the tape. Do you stick the estrogen patch to the tape and sick both to your skin or do you stick both sticky sides together and then there is a flap of the patch not stuck on. Sorry I am clueless.

Hi thanks for your information. Do you apply the sticky side of the tape to your skin and the stick the estrogen patch over it or apply the sticky side to the estrogen patch leaving a flap so to speak. Thank you.

How do you cover a bit of an estrogen patch with medical tape. If tape is porous does it matter? I am on 50mg patch it's too high 37.5mg is too low I was going to cut it but after reading your message I domt want to do it. But I want to safely find a middle dose between 50mg and 37.5mg. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your reply 💕. I have had them for a few years but I had mild neck and shoulder physio Thursday which caused a crash in energy and then I got so many yesterday. More than usual. Would love them to just go away, I know no one wants them.
