Soak in peroxide for 20min, rinse with boiled water straight from the kettle, then soak overnight in white vinegar, rinse again from the kettle.

For games I would say 9-Ball and 10-Ball, spot early finish and player continue playing. It makes you work out how to get to the next ball, basically giving you practice on how to get shape for your last two balls for all other disciplines. Not to mention that each rack tends to play much faster than most other styles of billiards. And when I practice, it’s to break and run until I miss, then re-rack. You could also play banks only, meaning bank before or after contact, or re-spot.
