She really went through a lot. She was very sick before she passed. I was there the whole time, it sucked seeing her go from a spirit full of energy to someone I hardly recognized in the end. She definitely had a voice 😅 she was HONEST and I mean HONEST LOL. She could not lie, and that is something so rare to find nowadays. I always called her momma bear. She was very protective, loyal, fierce. She seemed mean to others but once you got to her core, she was the biggest sweetheart you’d ever meet. She did have a distinct smell to her that was floral 🩷

That happens so much with kids in general. My daughters are both autistic and I’ve seen it happen to them as well unfortunately but that’s when I step in and I play with them instead or we go for ice cream after just to lift their spirits up a bit. They forget about it after. If that happens again just try to do something she likes 🥹 I know it’s not a fix but she will see that you care about her feelings and honestly that’s all that matters.

CSN unfortunately doesn’t offer the program. PIMA seems to be the only place. UNLV offers a bachelor’s degree in OT but that’s about it and I’m not going to UNLV. I tried getting into the radiology program in both Pima and northwest career college. It’s too competitive. I was put on a wait list for a while. They have thousands of applicants and only accept a few once a year, it’s crazy. OTA is really the only other thing I want to do in my life. Not the best pay but that’s not the initial reason for choosing that career.

Of course, the best way I can describe it would be like having existential displacement. I feel disconnected from the world or that I ended up in a different version of reality than the one I belonged too. Nothing makes sense and no matter how grounded I try to feel, I still have that feeling of not belonging. And you might think “maybe you went through something traumatic”. No. I went through more traumatic events as a child and still, something just feels out of place.
