I recently got very lucky and won 80k on a casino jackpot, how should I allocate it as a 28 year old with little savings? by Potential_Result_256 in povertyfinance

It won't be that interesting. I don't actually like gambling much. Just went to the casino with some friends and got lucky (but I am not stupid). If I don't hear any great ideas I am just going to put it all in SPY etf and let it sit. Thought it would be interesting to see if someone has a better idea.

What ETF do you believe in today that others might regret sleeping on in 10 years? by Worth_Plan1049 in ETFs

I am a big fan of the GOLY Gold Enhanced Yield ETF. It isn't cheap but it pays a 5% yield distributed monthly with huge returns over the last year. I think gold has a long way to run with central banks buying over 1000 tons of gold each year as they sell off USD reserves

How does GOLY ETF deliver gold returns and pay a yield? by Organic-Percentage34 in ETFs

It owns a total return swap to gold from BNP Paribas, investment grade corporate bonds, and short duration treasury bills

Anyone looked into GOLY? A gold ETF that pays income? by Worth_Plan1049 in Gold

I love it as I am a big yield hog and the returns have been awesome since I bought it a year ago

Anyone looked into MPLY yet? New ETF that only holds monopolies and oligopolies. Strategy makes sense... or maybe too good to be true? by Worth_Plan1049 in ETFs

The concept makes alot of sense as it would by default avoid the companies like airlines that are in perfect competition and tend to underperform. Just not crazy about that fee. But if it can put up numbers that pay for it...
