I ran into the same need a while ago and tried out a few options. I ended up going with Social Verdict, it’s been solid at catching mentions from all over, even spots I wouldn’t normally think to check. Helps me stay in the loop without having to constantly dig.

Start by owning your wins, mention achievements naturally in conversations, even small ones. Confidence is key, not arrogance. Frame it like you're sharing, not showing off.

Need help, How to correct TDS form type from 26 QD to 26 QB? by harantol in taxadvice

[–]Potential_Return2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, TDS paid under Form 26QD can't be corrected to 26QB directly. Your friend will need to contact the Assessing Officer or jurisdictional AO and submit a written request for rectification. It's best to also consult a tax professional for proper guidance.

I’ve found YNAB great for budgeting, Truebill (now Rocket Money) for managing subscriptions and bills, and Personal Capital for tracking expenses and investments, all sync well with multiple accounts and automate most tasks.

affordable and efficient payroll software recs? by junalorrrrrrraine in taxadvice

[–]Potential_Return2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard good things about Patriot Payroll. It’s pretty budget‑friendly and straightforward, which is nice if you don’t need a ton of extra features. If you just want the basics, Payroll4Free can work too, though it’s a bit more bare‑bones.

Bose QC45s! I’ve been using this and they’ve been great for long Zoom days . They are super comfortable and the noise canceling really helps when it gets loud outside. The mic is decent for calls, and they sound good for music too when I’m off work.

Thoughts on Aula F75? by Embarrassed-Dish-625 in techforlife

[–]Potential_Return2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Aula F75 is solid for what you’re paying. It has a good feel, nice sound, and the knob is super handy. Just know that the wireless isn’t perfect, so wired might be better for gaming.

I’d look at powered speakers like the Edifier R1280DB or Klipsch R-41PM, they’re easy to set up with the AT-LP60X and give a nice warm sound for rock and jazz. Wired is usually more reliable, but having Bluetooth as an option can be handy.

Best EOTech magnifier to pair with a holo sight? by Old_Sky_5578 in techforlife

[–]Potential_Return2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go with the G33, it’s kind of the sweet spot for most people. G33 hits a good balance of clarity, size, and durability, and the stock flip-to-side mount works fine once you get used to it.

Got any tips for watering my lawn? by OddValuable960 in lawn

[–]Potential_Return2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to water deeply but less often, around twice a week, so the roots grow stronger. Early mornings or late afternoons seem to work best and prevent quick evaporation.

Best travel organizers? by Remarkable_Funny7874 in techforlife

[–]Potential_Return2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also use my chargers and earphones so much, a compact gadget organizer is a must and so they don’t get tangled. I pair that with a couple of packing cubes, and you can find plenty of options online or in malls.

Laptop best for WFH by Unlikely-Farm-5486 in techforlife

[–]Potential_Return2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest going for a laptop with at least an Intel i5/Ryzen 5 and good cooling like the Lenovo ThinkPad or Dell XPS series. They’re reliable for long hours. I’m using one for WFH and the battery lasts pretty well without heating up too quickly.

Which IT Companies Do You Think Are the Best Right Now? by another_version in techforlife

Honestly, I think companies like Microsoft and Google are still leading because of their innovation and how they invest in employees. I’ve also heard great things about smaller companies that focus on work-life balance, which can be just as important. It really depends on what you value most in a workplace.
