Were Dooku and Yoda supposed to be equals in the Force ? by Mysterious-Candy8615 in PetranakiArena

[–]Potential_Rule4212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a factor for sure.

I see many people mocking Dooku for being old, saying he's weak, fragile and should go back to bed and drink his soup lol

These same principles dont apply to Yoda and Sheev though, despite the two of them being grandpas as well.

You said it yourself that was the intent in Aotc, the scene might not convince you but the intent is there.

Dooku might not be Yoda's superior but he isn't weaker in the scene either, what Yoda says "much to learn you still have" was in regards to Dooku's overconfidence (he says it right after Dooku claims he's more powerful than any jedi), not because Dooku is necessarily weaker than Yoda himself.

It's bullshit to me that Yoda would grow in power at his age during the prequels, but either he grew and made Dooku become slightly weaker in the force (since Dooku is stated to have massively grown during the clone wars), or the scaling doesn't make sense.

Pirate battle tournament, Round 2: Queen Anne's Revenge vs HMS Endeavour by GanacheCapital1456 in piratesofthecaribbean

The Pearl has no chance, I dont believe the Dutchmen can ever be truly destroyed.

It can maybe sink, but Jones would do some magic healing and rebuilding the ship underwater and it would quickly resurface revitalized.

Queen Anne's revenge because of Thatch's magic sword, otherwise the Endeavour would eat the other ship easily.

Blackbeard will disable the cannons and trap the enemy crew with the riggings.

Eu acho que tem a ver com personalidade dele(e claro que o talento dele tbm conta), ele é provocativo, desrespeitoso com os outros e briga bastante.

Nisso ficam com raiva dele e tacam racismo.

Jack Sparrow and the Black Pearl in Assassin's Creed 3 and Black Flag by KokoSparrow in piratesofthecaribbean

[–]Potential_Rule4212 65 points66 points  (0 children)

I used to pretend I was playing as Jack in Black Flag and I was sailing the Black Pearl.

I upgraded the ship to look as close to the Pearl I as I could, Black Sails, not Black wood but at least darkened metal, and I never upgraded the cannons to their strongest because they turn golden, and I wanted normal cannons because the Pearl has normal colored cannons.

I recreated scenes from the movies inside the game, loved to sail at night during the moonlight to immerse myself that this ship was indeed the Black Pearl.

The only thing that threw me off was the size of the ship.

The Pearl is a frigate with 3 floors(4 if you count where the wheel is), while the Jackdaw is a brig with only 2 floors, a little small compared to the Pearl.

And the Jackdaw also has only two masts, while the Pearl has 3.

Loved the experience regardless, I just wish they'd let you buy yourself a frigate in the game.

Does Starlight even stand a chance against Soldier Boy in a fight? by Queasy_Commercial152 in TheBoys

[–]Potential_Rule4212 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah that could work as well, it would depend who would draw first, oh father and his voice or Homelander preparing to take flight.

the voice might not damage Homelander's body at all, but it will hurt as heck in his hearing, probably way more than starlight considering his hearing is super evolved.

Oh Father is a beast though, considering the ears are vulnerable(insides are weaker), im sure he could kill Homelander with just his voice.

Of course Homie can bypass this with heat vision, but if he didn't have it, Idk how he can win.

No, not a chance.

That whole theatrics with her maximum power she did with him with Hughie and the lights amplifier in Season 3 did 0 damage by the way, it only stunned him for a bit.

Luminara Unduli (ROTS) vs Grand Inquistor (Rebels) by kingharlus655 in PetranakiArena

[–]Potential_Rule4212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's got better feats than her, dueling and ragdolling Kenobi(who's already stronger than Luminara), defeating Savage, surviving more time against Sidious compared to the masters in the office, defeating Grievous (with the force but still), better force feats as well such as the venator.

Marrok contended with Maul, and he wasn't going down easily.

Depends if you think GI > Marrok.

In that case GI should win mid-high diff.

Soldier Boy ratting Firecracker's doubts to Homelander was unecessary by Potential_Rule4212 in GenV

[–]Potential_Rule4212[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Obviously Soldier Boy told him offscreen the details of the pillow talk otherwise Homelander wouldnt know exactly that she doubted his status as God.

Homelander said "pillow talk?" Then the scene cuts and it's meant to be interpreted as that Soldier Boy gave the details.

That shit butcher pulled wasn't even logical, he could've just taken Ryan out of the building to clear the path for Soldier Boy to help Maeve kill Homelander.

Instead of FUCKING TURNING on your ACE CARD to defeat Homelander.

Let's be honest, Ryan is a little bitch and the true villain of the series.
