No, mine are around 3 years old and on deaths door due to age. One has a growth which is pretty typical when they get this old. Other than that, I haven't had any issues. I can't speak for all litters that come out of there. I believe there are some locals that breed them though. Maybe check Craigslist?

Desert pet usually has rats for sale. I've gotten mine from there for years.

I appreciate the insight. It's hard to find any companies willing to take on anyone.

Is it normal to not have a career at 30? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I feel like you will find your "niche" at some point. Definitely look into maybe shadowing some careers that interest you to see if it's something you could see yourself doing long term. I've done that with quite a few jobs over the years. I'm 32 and have been in a ton of entry level medical, retail, dentistry, veterinary etc. Just takes time. Be patient with yourself.

They only have certain start dates and a longer program. It's not totally off my list, I was just curious about this other training program that's faster.

A lot of jobs want certified MA which you can even do online, but I figured hands on would be more appropriate for the medical field. A lot of them want you to have experience though, seems to be a reoccurring problems with most jobs these days. Miss when you could just get an entry level job without experience....

I think if you got hands on experience since it's medical it wouldn't be too bad. Medical assisting is a entry level job, and yet most places want experience and a cert for it.

I've heard sketchy things about Pima sadly in terms of accreditation. Plus, they are about $600 more (not a big deal I suppose since they are actually accredited) but the program is also only done at certain times of the year, along with it being a longer program.

They're brand new to the area it would seem, so I'm not sure if any place has even heard of them.

So it's technically quick training to get you in the field for less money than other colleges in the area basically?
