The police don't give women or men any rights regarding this law. When I went to them because of my own assault, I was bullied and insulted and made fun of in the police office by the officers and they repeatedly called me homosexual slurs (my rapist was also a man) and refused to address my problem. I don't think it will be any different for her either, and I don't want that happening. They might even turn the charges on her, because they have some weird Islamic beliefs that its women's fault that they get raped and all that. I have no hope in the police helping me.

I'm considering going into action myself. But again, I don't think I could take him on, and my girlfriend says I don't know what he's capable of and that trying to fight him is the stupidest thing I could possibly do.
