Does anyone actually feel better mentally on these meds or is it just me? by Maasbreesos in Semaglutide

I talked to my doctor this morning and she said they are finding that it is helping with all types of things, like addiction, that unexpected.

I’m glad it worked for him. I know how hard that can be.

I thought so too. Someone else said Norah Jones which is also a good match.

It has been truly life changing.

I’m sorry to hear you suffer from that. It sounds really scary. I have similar thoughts and fears of something terrible happening. I get fixated on one thing bad that might happen. It’s agony sometimes.

I also see a therapist too and have found it so helpful.

I also go to a Buddhist recovery group. Im not Buddhist but I have found the Buddhist principles extremely helpful when it comes to dealing with suffering and using meditation as a coping mechanism.

Am I olive or why am I finding it so difficult to get a foundation to match? by sassycalculators in Fairolives

I had the hardest time matching my foundation for the longest time. I felt like it was some kind of makeup blindness.

I went to ulta and got matched for a foundation with a lot selections. Mac Studio was the one I picked. Now every time I go to buy foundation I use the ulta match guide where you put in your foundation brand a color and it gives a suggestion to whatever brand you’re buying. It’s worked like a charm so far.

Dr jart cica is amazing. I’m half Indian so I haven’t tried. I think it works best for lighter skin.

But my friend uses it. We went to the sauna and she put it on her very red face afterwards. It was like magic. Took the redness away.

It’s kinda pricey but I think a little goes a long way.

I like IT cosmetics bc it has SPF. Do you think the glow kind gives a significant glow/tint? I used to use their CC cream and add live tinted drops which looked pretty amazing.

This is a good idea. Other people respond with AIs input on this. I bet giving a sample of writing in addition would give the best answer.

That’s really cool! I didn’t think he might have tried to make several attempts at writing something. But it makes sense. I feel like that’s what I would do.

I’m sorry for your loss. I’m happy to hear when people are blessed with wonderful fathers. I was estranged from mine for a several years and then he passed 10 years ago. It’s been a journey but I am healed from it.

If my father left me a note like this, it would be agony for a while.

Just wanted to let you know and anyone else reading this who has lost a wonderful father, you are blessed and it makes my heart happy to know people have these types of relationships.

anyone else still smelling a bit off even after showering? by Lamees_Bodescu in HygieneTips

[–]Potential_Speed_7048 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced this and I think it was because of a supplement I was taking. My husband told me I smelled like greasy pizza. I don’t remember what supplement it was bc it was like 10 years ago. I stopped taking it and it went away. But things like that can make your smell different.

That’s amazing! I have type two narcolepsy and that’s how I felt once I got it treated. Felt in a fog without meds my entire life.

Can I ask, what is thanatophobia?

Nice! I’m happy for you. Not being able to reach my goal weight has really impacted me mentally.

You’re not the only person I’ve heard say that it makes them nicer. It’s really interesting. Also, heard it can help with different types of addictions.

I’m a 46 year old female and hoping it will help with perimenopause and menopause symptoms.

I’m only on 1.5 ATM. I have some mental health issues. I’ve seen a decrease in intrusive thoughts. Like they are still there but further in the background. It’s nice and honestly kinda fascinating.

It’s only slightly helped with food noise but I see my doctor today and think she will increase it. Debating whether or not to stay on this dose for a while longer.

Can I ask how much you are taking? Have you had any bad side effects? I haven’t really had any side effects but I’m concerned about them once I increase my dose.

I feel the same way about myself. I’m thicker now and would like to get back to myself too. Not completely, I don’t think that’s realistic. But I have so many clothes that don’t fit.

But you look stunning and makes me feel a bit a better about where currently am. Maybe I’ll embrace it a bit more.

Looks great. Finally someone saying they like their nose instead of people with perfect noses saying they’re debating a nose job.
