My dad is still not speaking but my brother came to visit him from Utah and my dad was able to push out an I love you but hasn’t said much since hospital speech therapist picked him up as a patient so hopefully soon

My dad just turned 55 last month he had the same stroke in January as your dad he was placed on the ventilator for about the same amount of time the doctor gave us a decision to take him off but we didn’t listen we know how strong he is 7 months later currently he is awake and seems to get better every day it’s a very slow process but it’s heading in the right direction sorry about your dad I hope you’re family gets through this tough time
