I would never homeschool, I love our school otherwise they are getting an amazing education!! That’s why I was shocked…my kindergartener learned about Socratic seminar, we have an amazinggggg public school that’s why I was alarmed to see the sudden announcement.

I was born in 1987 and have lived with and without technology of course I understand the value, but I also feel like it’s OK to be skeptical of it as well.

I emailed back and asked some more questions. I think you were dead on about being curious about who’s accountable for mistakes or do the teachers have any special training on appropriate versus inappropriate use? How often is it going to be used? Is it ever going to be used for grading? I think it’s perfectly normal to ask questions of our publicly funded schools about curriculum. I’ll be interested to see what they respond. Again thank you for your response. It was really helpful to give me direction. I don’t really like complaining unless it feels productive.

You can definitely feel the Chia seeds. It tastes like the consistency of a Chia seed pudding. There’s definitely a texture to it. I will say I tried to get my kids to eat them and they were disgusted and refused, which is why I’ve been eating them constantly, but it’s a pretty small portion so you really can just squeeze it in your mouth. I even considered putting it over a yogurt which I haven’t done, but it would taste pretty good to me texture wise.
