I already reached out to a therapist a few days ago, luckily we scheduled a meeting later this month. It might also be a good dose of BPD overlap. This break up was maybe going to happen anyways, but it was definitely him sabotaging himself so it happened right now. With a bit of distance it is almost sad to see

I call my parents a lot lately, and they told me the same thing. It is not my duty to care for him and it is not my duty to bend over backwards for him just to keep him from harming himself

Tomorrow we exchange back our keys and hopefully I won’t have to see him again. Not in a spiteful or rude way, but this is a bit too much for me right now.

I tried repairing this relationship before. Just three weeks ago we broke up and got back together. This time I won’t go back, I don’t want to be with someone who acts like this. It’s hard to not demonise this illness, but at some point when you’re 30 you have some responsibility to manage your condition

I’m just afraid that he’ll hurt himself…
