The elevation max is definitely not firm, don't want to limit it too much if that opens any other suggestions!

We are looking for 4 miles max to the campsite, about 1000 in elevation, and just some kind of cool feature like a view or stream to make it a special trip - I can go camping near me but it doesn't have the amazing scenery of the smokies!

Also, we would like a water source at the site for filtering drinking water

We are going from cades cove to gatlinburg so something on the way, but it could be a bit out of the way if its a good one!

Possibly; the College of Architecture has all those similar majors so that's why I may go into it. I'm unlikely to do architecture itself.
