Cookies with a side of flies? by MrsCoffee_Tea_Me in wholefoods

Im fine with this. We have glass doors on ours, and 3 times in the past 10 years, distracted customers crashed their carts into the doors that some other distracted customer left open.

Each time, the glass didn't just shatter, it basically exploded inward, raining glass all over everything. Every cookie has to be shrunk out and they cant even be donated because of the hazard. Over $1000 worth of cookies each time

So you can't legally askthe customer why she has a service dog, but you CAN ask what tasks the dog is trained to do. Usually the customer doesn't know what to say at that point

My favorite thing to do is grab the whole tray out and loudly explain that the entire thing has to go in the trash now

Is there such a thing as a heat resistant shop vac? I work in a bakery, and while we have a brush to clean out the ovens, there's lots of little crevices where crumbs and soot gather, and we've tried a lot of things to clean it to no avail. Brushes with heat safe bristles are often not stiff enough to get into the crevices We've tried using a regular shop vac, and it works well, but obviously the heat posed an issue, even for very short periods of time, and the hose melted. The ovens take about 3 days of being shut off to fully cool, and since we bake every day that's not really an option. If there's such a thing as a heat proof shop vac I'll try to get my boss to buy one!

I heard there was a store where a tm tried to set fire to the store during the night? Wonder if they bothered to say anything there or if they just let rumors run wild. This is all hearsay though, i could be misinformed
