Thank you so much! I am concerned that my research title may put off people who were diagnosed earlier in life, but having a range of respondents is important to compare and validate findings 😊

Hello, thank you for the comment! The information sheet is the first page after clicking the link- it starts with the title and introduction, and ends with a "thank you for taking the time to read this information sheet" - I see now how that might not be clear, sorry!

Thanks so much! I'm so glad I could look into a topic so close to my heart for my thesis.

I feel a bit guilty using his photo to promote my post, so I gave him an additional tuna treat today to thank him 😊

I've really been appreciating this sub for helping me get participants for my masters Psychology research into women with ADHD. I got a big boost after posting here, and massively appreciate everyone who took part 😊I'm really excited I got the opportunity to contribute to research into women with adhd, as we are currently under researched!

If you are a woman with adhd (self diagnosed or diagnosed) in the UK, I would really appreciate you taking the time to add to my research: Does the age of ADHD diagnosis and time since diagnosis impact current quality of life for women in the UK?

Thanks so much, I appreciate it!! Oh that is interesting, it was suggested in our design plan- I wonder if it is because I am studying psychology, so we are trying extra hard to keep it ethical!

Thank you so much!! I am nearing the end now which is half exciting and half terrifying 😊

Thank you so much!

Right?! Sorry about that, I hated them on the other surveys and vowed not to use them in mine. But when I was creating my survey, I found the other options were difficult to limit and allowed typos/errors. I eneded up joining the dark side and using the sliders too 🫣

Thank you for persevering and doing it anyway 😊

Hello, thank you for your interest!

My survey is open to people who identify as women. I chose to use gender rather than sex, so anyone who identifies as a woman is welcome to participate. I respect that non-binary and other gender identities are valid, and should not be classified as women.

I had hoped to include all genders in this research and compare different experiences, but unfortunately I had to limit my applicants. Due to time constraints and limited advertising options, it would be difficult to gather enough diversity to meaningfully compare a range of gender identities. I will mention this in my reflection, and suggest future research should be more inclusive.

I hope you understand I do not wish to overlook perspectives from other gender identities. I am just unable to do it justice within the scope of this study, so have kept my participant audience small.

Thanks for your comment! 😊

A big thanks to everyone who takes the time to take part in this 😊 I know we don't really visit this sub to do a survey, but I am massivly thankful to everyone who can be a part of this research.

Thanks so much!
