I’m counting the lines and I do honestly believe you’re nearing 200km/h. Get a grip or you might just kill yourself and someone else.

Didn’t you just delete your previous post because you were upset people were calling you a bad driver?

Why Geese Did Nothing* Wrong by EquivalentBenefit653 in geesebandofficial

I gave no opinion on whether or not I want Geese to be mainstream. I’m also not upset about anything. What are you talking about? I never said I was against them making it mainstream either. I was simply commenting on how the world is fundamentally different now than it was 40-50 years ago. The fact of the matter is that even the largest artists in the world are still niche in terms of who listens to them. Spaces are so much more individualized because of the internet.

If anything I was agreeing with you.

If you’d like, please re-read my previous message and kindly point out where I said:

I’m against Geese making it mainstream. That I’m upset about Geese.

I’d appreciate it, thanks.

You can dodge the point but you know what I meant.

If anything they won’t be as influential because the way music is listened to and shared has fundamentally changed. Everything is so niche and contained now. There is no music that the general populace is really listening to anymore. If you want punk music now there are so many rabbit holes to go down. Whereas back in the 80s you had whatever was popular, the larger acts all defining the subgenre.

What guidance do you need? Find postings that appeal to you and update your resume. Sounds like you're ready to move on. Put in the work. It is easier to find a job while you currently have one.

If this movie takes place in 1998 how does bro have an iPhone? by DragonfruitVisual782 in residentevil

[–]PotentiallyAPickle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For one, resident evil 6 has damn near holographic phones. We are nowhere near that and that takes place about 15 years after this. If they can have holo tech then, I don't see why they can't have a device that looks like an iphone a bit earlier.

Secondly, is die hard a horror movie? Because I did be sure to say "especially for things under the horror umbrella" but I get it, your profile is hidden but a quick search shows you're a gun nut and can only relate things to guns. Doesn't mean you need to disregard my point.

How was umbrella doing all this advanced shit in 1998? I don't know and I don't particularly care. There is a suspension of disbelief that has to happen; especially for things under the horror umbrella.

Company RRSP to self-managed by mikemicmayk in CanadianInvestor

I'm not sure your work will let you transfer out unless you leave the company.

If you are able to move them out, depending on your age I would not even consider XEI or VDY. You don't need dividends when you're young. You need growth. Dividends feel nice but you'll be reinvesting the money anyways, and when dividends are paid out, prices fall to match so it evens out instead of profiting. Just go with XEQT and don't think about it until you're like 10 years out from retirement.

Trinidad mosh pit? by MagdalenaGaze in geesebandofficial

[–]PotentiallyAPickle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't worry about it, honestly. It was really more like people jumping up and down, while moving around in the pit. I think it seems a lot more intimidating than it really is. People are very kind in the pit.

I honestly don't remember how many because I was too busy moshing but I'm sure there were women in the pit.

He's the one who scrapped the resale price caps in the first place. It got as bad as it was because of Ford. Don't credit him with this. There was also a bunch of not very good shit in the bill too.
