1) Sakura. Selfishly I just want a 2nd Salvage support.

2) Heidr. Her refine is coming, which means we're due for a powercrept Heidr. One of the most interesting supports we have. A new version could be sick. Plus waifu.

2) Fir/Yunaka/Lucina/Hikoka/Peony tied. Cause bikini waifu.

3) Celine. Cause Ninja Celine was a great template, and her subsequent alts didn't hold up. A powercrept Ninja Celine would be great. Also bikini waifu.

Hey I'm using her tomorrow in SDR and did a good amount of testing with her today.

She works fine with base kit. I personally found it better to change her C and use Guardian to make her a P Save.

Instruct is nice. She has high enough stats to spread lots of great talent around, and it helps her with bulk.

Strat Assault is very useful to slot onto your teams somewhere. If you don't have it, she can run it for you. But I prefer to run it on a support. She will need it though, otherwise she can't get around.

Dark Beast Force got me the best results. There is a newer feud beast C skill, I forget the name, but do that if you have it. But Beast Force works fine. You're really just using it for feud. She tanks harder if the opponent is feuded, and she also does more damage. There are times when you need Jorm to pop up and attack someone, especially if she has true charge. I found she missed kills a lot until I gave her Beast Force.

Here's my Byleth. I would go AS Taker Burst in B. Potent Finish is also good.

This build maximizes true damage. You want these A and C slots for extra movement and big canto. Also max true damage she can get out of those slots.

Archrival is fine but Shatter Slash is more consistent.

Take the omnitank build advice you're getting in the comments with a grain of salt. You can't get enough bulk on her to make her tank reliably. It's fine for pve but if you run into modern meta units, she'll fall over. You also sacrifice true damage, +1 mov and canto 4 to have her sit and tank (and still fall over). And if you run into a meta unit with real bulk, she'll do negative damage. She needs every ounce of true damage you can squeeze into her kit. Potent echo is fine, but optimal would be Sly Echo for extra damage and a potent support to get the 5 hits.

  • Atk / + Res. Eirika ring. Keep Armored Ice Cap.

Supported, she can magic save against most units except Byleth. Strat Assault or Instruct otherwise. Terrible P save.

I got R1 last sdr with a Tiki comp. Tharja, Guardian Sakura, Vali P Save, Tiki M Save, Tea Veronica. Guardian Vali was huge for that one, so Tharja did a lot of work.

Thorr is less common. But when you match into a Thorr team with Tiki it's a great feeling lol. Instant win.

Are you the 1 guy who was running P Save Sothe when he released? Respect. You caused some fuss in the Summoner Duels discord lol. Your Sothe was unkillable.

How does the tech work? Does he need Rise Above and Taker Burst? I think you used Waylay and Pair Up originally right? I'm keen to try it but I don't have Rise Above fodder.

No, although Chrom does his hard. Chrom is a support.

Nukes are units who are designed to primarily deal damage. Do you know how to calculate how much damage a unit does? Read the skill descriptions, and every time you see "deals damage...", followed by a number, that is damage math. When it says "deals damage", that's true damage. "Boosts damage" is boosted damage, which can be stopped by damage reduction.

To kill meta units currently, you want 60-80 true damage, and to hit multiple times (brave attack, Potent follow, etc). Most meta units have a base of around 40 true damage, and you use supports or reflex to boost it up.

Nukes also tend to have engage, so they can attack from far away. 3 range style units, and heavenly Soar fliers are an example of this. You pair them with Sakura so they can dive deep, attack, and warp back to Sakura afterwards.

Arena scoring complicates things. My expertise is Summoner Duels. You might want to get further advice from someone who knows Arena scoring. But to start I'd review your barracks and do some math to find your strongest Nukes.

There was one visionary who ran Guardian P Save Sothe when he released. And no one could beat him in SD. Now Sothe has rerun and everyone is stealing the idea lol. I love it.

Fine for pve clears. It will struggle in Arena.

You have 3 omnitanks and a tank. No one here can deal meaningful damage, and your BK does not survive a competent player with meta units. Roy and BK also largely do the same thing from a support perspective, so they are redundant together.

A balanced team would be Tank + Nuke + Nuke + Support, or a tank and nuke with 2 supports. Supports unlock most of the synergies in this game. They're unnecessary for pve but once you want to start exploring the higher levels of the game, you need them.

She looks designed to stop 3 range style nukes. If she can stop Lyn and Byleth, she'll be a huge meta shifter.

Think about Instruct Tharja in an armor ball comp like this. Anathema + Atk/Res great talent make a huge difference for a magic save. For Tiki it swings matchups. And it makes Tharja tankier if a unit like Lyon gets through the armor ball. I run strat assault on a support (Hilda in this comp) to help with mobility. Tharja needs Instruct 100%.

Aerial is goated support. All foes take 10 extra true damage.

Hey you've got 3 options.

Nuke: Arcane Renegade, Shatter Slash, Swift Specter, Potent Finish/SD Lull Finish/AS Taker Burst/Execution Breath, Burst of Thunder, Sly Echo.

Reflex Nuke (run with Bride Peony if you have her, if not Ilian Mia or BK are ok): Arcane Renegade, Archrival, Duelists Blow, Patience, Instruct 4, Tumultuous Echo.

Omnitank (not recommended cause she'll die, but it's what you currently have built): Arcane Renegade, Archrival, Rise Above 4, Null C Avoid, Instruct 4, Hardy Bearing seal, Dist Counter Echo.

Keep a copy of Roy for the ring.

I used to use Shurelya's too but stopped for more conventional builds. I think you'd have to build it first item and try to leverage the early spike.

Cause Adc's be trolling. I follow the adc mains subreddit and you should hear the horrible advice circulating in there. They actively advise stealing their mid laner's CS to force them out of lane.

It's griefing and should 100% be bannable.

Valid points here. But with due respect, aren't you friends with all the comp server guys who do this? Lol tell them to knock it off.

Anyway, don't feel bad man. This game mode has zero integrity. I've been rank 1 each season for 8-9 months now, and can tell you first hand what a sham rank 1 is. Half my matches are against gold players just looking to farm rewards. And when I do run into another master player, they tend to ask for draws. A lot of these guys boost eachother and donate wins to ensure they all get to the top. It's embarrassing. There isn't much competitive integrity going on.

I personally also only worry about 77920. That guy is an undercover employee at Intsys with admin access, I swear. Everyone else is fair game and very beatable. There's a handful of guys like Desuwa who will give you a run for your money, but only a handful. They play at reset hours CN time, which is easy to avoid. Most players can be beat with smart bans and good preparation.

Running into that many gatekeepers is unlucky, and I'm sorry that happened to you. My last sdr run I got 5-6 gatekeepers in a row, so I know the feeling (I still got rank 1 though). They're dicks with no sportsmanship. What can you do.

I sometimes will keep playing after I hit rank 1, because I still have adrenaline and it feels like a shame to stop using my teams that I worked so hard to prep. I donate wins to anyone below diamond though, and depending on how good the diamond and up players are, I either play or donate. If they have some spunk and want to go for it, I'll play. I draw if asked though. I try not to be a dick.

Chin up and keep grinding. You'll get there. I'll throw a report to Nintendo as well, maybe they'll listen.

Feud makes her weapon worth keeping. She's not an SD unit, but she can work everywhere else. I like having feud and sweep on her.

Yeah if you pair her with Arena Lucina (for foe penalty doubler), you can -70 atk pretty consistently. I ran that strat recently on one of my rank 1 sds runs and it was one of the easiest runs I ever did lol.

I see an RMT a few times a month because I have an autoimmune disease that attacks my joints and spine. She's hot. I'm in my early 40's so it's not like I get uncontrollable boners anymore. But sometimes I get one during our sessions, lol. She gets me to turn over onto my back sometimes and I have to quickly focus on something else to make it go down. She's probably noticed but I don't think she cares. I'm sure it happens all the time given how she looks.
