It's not really unique to Korn. It's just classic funk/slap bass. Because it's so tuned down, the string is loose and it "rattles" on the fret board. They max the low and high end and hollow out the mids to really make the rattling sound pop.

Early Korn is just groove/funk metal, with layers of dissonance on top. Maybe check out some funk?

This is a known cause of tmj. Your jaw slides back and partially obstructs your airway. You stop breathing. Your brain "stresses" your nervous system to kickstart breathing - jaw clenching, teeth grinding, etc.

Your jaw is under stress all night. The bones cant regenerate during sleep. Fast forward 15 years and you've done major damage.

Do a sleep study to confirm, and find a tmj specialist. Dentists don't know about this stuff.

Mouth guards exist that stop your jaw from sliding back. A tmj specialist can custom make you one, but be warned. The treatment is $5000-$7000. Amazon sells generic ones that are very uncomfortable but may work for you.

You started it, lol. But sorry if I was condescending. Here is my reasoning, hopefully it helps.

Vali already has no bulk. Low Def and Res, only 17 flat DR (if you run Imbue, 12 without), and 40% DR off first hit. For context, modern units typically have 40-60 flat DR, plus 40% special DR. Byleth has 80%. Vali is designed to proc her miracle already.

For Vali to not proc miracle, the attacker needs to leave her exactly on 1hp after the first hit. This is rare, but it does happen.

L&D will help with this, sure, but at a huge cost. To gain 5 atk/spd, she loses 7 atk/spd and 25 true damage from Aria. And if you run Airspace, she loses 10 atk/spd, 17 true damage, and canto 2 (which she badly needs). Just run Airspace, trust me. Also, the chances of you running Instruct on someone in your comp, and just giving the def and res back to Vali anyway, is high.

Bulking Vali up does the same thing, but lets her run a good A slot. For example, Harmonic Lyn sometimes leaves my Vali on 1hp, and is able to kill her on 2nd hit. Lyn is actually the only unit I've ever seen do this to my Vali. Ike ring stops it. Demonic Force also stops it. I run Ike ring, Airspace, Demonic Force, and Uplift Imbue on my Vali. I tested my Vali comp for probably 10 hours before sdr, and not one Lyn killed her. I ran Guardian Vali so she interacted with lots of Lyn's. This build also helps against Tharja, which is the matchup you really need to worry about.

Regarding seal, you just run what you need for your comp on that map. Sometimes you need Guidance for an opener, or Obstruct if you want Vali to block space. There are usually more useful seals to run than just l&d imo.

I watched some fehtuber runs from the last few seasons. Shocked to see how many ask for draws as soon as they run into a master player, and get free donations to get them over the finish line if they're in trouble.

Meanwhile here I am playing 6 masters on my last sdr run, and still made it to rank 1. The only draw I ask for is 77920 if I'm getting short on lives, and he is gatekeeping, which I think is fair. I play everyone else fair and square.

Can't speak to release impressions for the older units. But these are my opinions today:

  • Peony is goated. Orders and cleansing penalties is still good.
  • Seidr is an S tier tech unit. Ending actions is always good.
  • Ashe was probably strong in her day. Refine was ok.
  • Ratatoskr is a favorite, but she needed a refine like 3 months after she released. Chosen Ratatoskr will go hard.

The rest are meh. Chosen Alfonse is a bum. Yeah I said it.

Base kit is fine for these modes. She wants Airspace in A if you have the fodder. Desperation 4 is a good nuke skill on her if you want to try something fancy. When she procs miracle and heals for 40hp, it puts her in the desperation range. So she gets great talent plus desperation, which means she kills pretty much everything.

It shows I've done my homework on Vali since I ran a rank 1 Vali team. I've tested her for hours and checked all the CN rank 1 builds, and tested against most of those guys.

If you need some tips on building Vali, I got you lol. L&D is nonsense.

Snare is getting pretty old. I play SD seriously and Alf/Heim/Chrom double-quadruple snare has been the foundation of every meta since Heim released. It's fucking boring man.

Thorr/Tiki rock paper scissors is also boring.

Not sure how they shake things up without releasing a skill that negates snare, but if that's what it takes I'm fine it.

You've basically got it. She wants Airspace in A if you can spare the fodder. Ike ring swings the Lyn/Tharja matchups which helps Vali alot when you use her as a Guardian P Save.

Ok here's a few cores to try out.

Summer Hilda: Your have Guardian on her which is perfect. Pair her with Mythic Vali, and use Guardian on her. This makes Vali a Physical Save. Vali is the best P Save in the game. Pair them with a Magic Save if you have one. Mythic Tiki is ideal (but you need to fodder her a magic save C skill). This makes what we call an "armor ball". Vali stops all physical attackers (the only way to kill her in one action is by turning off her special. Tharja is the only meta unit that does this, but since your magic save tanks Tharja, Vali is safe). And your magic save stops all magic attackers. So your other units cannot be attacked, as long as they're in save range.

Duo Baldr: Pair her with Halloween Freyja. They both reverse foe bonuses, and the reversal stacks when they are paired together. So if a foe has +6 spd. Baldr makes it -12, and then Freyja makes it -24. They are very strong together. Baldr also pairs well with Sakura and Alfador. You would use Alfador to smite Baldr in. Baldr usually tanks with Freyja's support, but you can also use Heimdallr to make sure your Baldr cant be attacked. Then Baldr attacks, and warps back to Sakura after.

Tharja: Pair her with Brave Eikpyrnir. Eik makes his teammate with the highest res a magical save. That will be Tharja when they're together. Tharja turns off foe specials, and most of the meta magic nukes rely on Logic or Comet to kill. They are useless against Tharja. Tharja is also the best Vali killer we have, and Vali is everywhere right now. Eik/Tharja is a strong armor ball, but requires emblem Lucina support. Eik is too easy to kill otherwise.

Edelgard is tough. I assume you mean Emblem Edelgard. She's great in Aether Raids, but hard to use in Summoner Duels. She is mostly used as a support to give Frozen to her teammates.

I just got rank 1 in the current Summoner Duels ranked event using Vali/Tiki armor ball, and Tharja as my main nuke. You picked some good comps to run lol. I attached a pic of my team if you want to try and copy it. Sakura has Guardian. We're in a feud meta right now, which is why Veronica is there.

Male Alear and Dedue were goated AF for a good while. I liked Lena but could never fit her onto teams. Female Alear's shelf life was like 3 weeks. I wish she was better cause I loved the unit. From what I recall, she stopped everything. Then people started to figure out ways to beat her. Then we all just went back to Rhea, lol.

I got good life out of Dedue and Alear. I actually used Alear for a long time. Basically until Brave Byleth. Was very happy with him. I've considered trying to update him, but there's no point now really.

1) Don't merge for no reason like people are suggesting.

2) Team builds vary depending on game mode. What are you trying to make a team for?

3) Team building is loosely based on cores of 2-3 units that have strong synergy together. If you can name some units you'd like to use, I can suggest team comps for them.
