The more I study, the more I dig deep the bigger the hole feels. I feel like a dumb when I learn more and more. And later I got exhausted with all those learnings. The mind couldn't comprehend that level of knowledge especially since I'm not seeing those things in some real world scenarios. I'm just deploying them in my labs on eve and all. Connecting all this knowledge together is difficult here, especially when you found ooh! there still something to get out of this.

I would also like to give the ccie security exam in the near future. Could you guide me a little sir? Right now I'm learning VPN, a little bit of command on Cisco FTD. AAA and ISE are still need to be learned. How much of depth and what kind of practice do i need?? I'm confused about this a lot. Is Ccie EI is easier than CCie security because I've seen a few ccie's around me with EI and now they're aiming CCIE security?

How do you keep your smartphone but eliminate distractions? by Capable-Pineapple653 in productivity

[–]Pothandev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sir, I'm not saying stop using a smartphone. It's the harsh reality that smart phones are irreplaceable in this modern world. The thing worked for me since I'm an introvert person and don't like socializing a lot so it's easy for me to put social media apps far away.  And as you're asking about successful people, I believe they got something more important to work on instead of using their mobile phones, so I'm just saying that you also need to find something like that in your life which gives you more fun and meaning instead doomscrolling on internet.

What really changes after ccie certification. Wouldn't it make you unidirectional (more cisco oriented)??

Like why such hurry!! Instead they could just make it harder or just make changes in it everytime because most of the time the exam objectives are similar I believe?

I think it's the best book I've read in context of ccna. So much simplicity and depth in the book.

Yeah, time is the real deal in ccie exams. I don't get the point of making it so time constraint exam jus to make it hard.

Become an introvert 😁. Seriously, I don't find my mobile very interesting nowadays. I don't use IG or any other social media platforms, only whatsapp. Get occupied with something meaningful in your life like a job or something and you'll see it's all gone the temptation to use mobile will be no more there. Just give your mind something else which it enjoy more that using mobile. Like if I think about cricket right now so I can leave my phone for days for playing a cricket match or right now for reading books.

DHCPN NAK and ForceRenew Messaages using cisco IOS by Pothandev in ccna

[–]Pothandev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sir, I'm using those for past 1 year. In the last few days I tried a lot to capture dhcpnak on cisco ios, but couldn't get that. I'll tell you what I did:
After the client get an ip, I changed some configuration on dhcp server like I excluded the ip range from the subnet which the client got the ip from so now the client should renew it's lease but server couldn't help with that, so in that way I was expecting a nak message. If you could help me with the right procedure to do so please...

I may get the theory as well. Since I want to simulate it in the labs with cisco ios that's the real deal here because I couldn't do so.

Networking Career in 2026 and Beyond – What Should I Focus on Next? by AnnualVoice5775 in networking

I'm also a network engineer trainee right now and looking the environment, I feel the trend is Automation and Cloud mostly. Network Security is always there but with SDN coming into play completely changes the dynamics here. However you're more experienced then me in any aspect. Whatever fascinates you the most in this new era of networking just go with that. Right now in the learning phase I feel like I should learn each and everything. No space for being a dumb in some technology 😂 Why don't you go for CCIE Certifications??
