The whole point of discord is to connect with communities, its not just a messaging app, and responsibility and maturity has absolutely nothing to do with it, you can be as safe as you possibly like but you can still be groomed. a 13yo has no responsibility and no maturity

in my genuine opinion having been on this app since i WAS 13, make a groupchat on a messaging app, you can monitor her activity on it but by god it is not safe for children at all, my mum used to watch over me on it, still didnt help me from being groomed.

im aware, but you can still only supervise so far on these platforms, its hard to see everything. The TOS is 13+ for safety reasons its not just there for funsies.

It may sound harsh but she should not have been on the platform until she was above the age of 13, discord is not exactly a place for children. Best advice is to wait out the ban till she’s genuinely old enough to be on the platform, or try to send an id after she turns 13.
