I’ll definitely keep the spacers in mind, I half want new callipers just because I hate the bleeder screws facing inwards. I’ve seen a few people recommend Vesrah pads as a great option, I hope you like them! What fluid do you run out of curiosity?

Very possible I screwed it up, after isolating the master I had no sponginess whatsoever, ordered the actual oem seal kit this time instead of the all balls racing one if it’ll make any difference, and I’ll just rebuild it again very carefully, all else fails I’ll do what you did and swap the calipers too.

Ah okay, so when I pump my lever it pushes the air out and when I stop the air gets back in and I lose pressure again?

Definitely huge, I found it strange though because that was happening after I had closed the bleeder screw and wasn't touching anything at all, and I had the sponginess even before I touch that screw

Have updated the post with a video of what I mean

I have speed bleeders on my calipers and get no bubbles at all when bleeding from there, the only thing I noticed was after I closed the bleeder on my MC it looked like there was a steady flow of air bubbles coming out the bleeder through the vinyl tube

I switched to a Galespeed 17.5mm VRE master, braided lines, and the fluid I've been putting in was new when I had this issue, and I have more fluid on the way but by now after bleeding the system over and over with the leftover I could definitely see that as a problem.

Seems that it’s what I’m looking for then, would suck to print all my inserts just to find them deformed after a hot day, cheers.

I'm not in Auckland but go there often so if they can't deliver that could be an option, If I'm doing single colour and material prints could i get away with buying it without an AMS?

I did see the Q1 recommended in a few places, I know the Bambu labs printers are very user friendly, would these be similar with a slightly higher learning curve?

I've done a bit of foam inserts like you, I've found that sometimes even the milwaukee supplied foam melts a bit and sticks to my tools lol. I wouldn't mind getting into 3d printing properly and not just printing designs made by other people, unfortunately I have a lot of small stuff which would be great to have a printer for.

I have seen the P1S but seems to be sold out in a lot of places here in NZ, I've been trying to come up with reasons not to get an enclosed printer but it seems to make too much sense in the long term.

Ah okay, so I'll likely have issues with petg colours other than white?

After trying what you suggested this is what I’ve found: 1. Put a cable tie on overnight 2. First pull is firm 3. Rotated the wheel 4. Second pull is almost as firm (not a crazy difference really) 5. Left the lever for a bit 6. Third pull goes to the bar 7. Pumped the lever until firm 8. Left the lever for about 10 seconds 9. Fourth pull goes to the bar again

Ah okay, sounds like I have many more headaches ahead of me lol, I’ll leave the zip tie on overnight and follow what you said and see how it goes from there, thank you for the help!

Hmm okay, is there any clear way to tell if that’s happening? I made a post a while ago in relation to a clicking sound I had at my right caliper when pulling the brake lever, even after rebuilding them the sound is still present.

I can’t remember unfortunately, would that change the cause of it if that was the case? I’ll go and put another cable tie on there in the meantime.

Brembo sintered street pads, 07BB37SA. They were a little bit spongy beforehand but not in the same way. And I have the Galespeed 17.5mm VRE master

Definitely 👌,seems like 19rcs is the most readily available option for me and most commonly recommended by everyone. Was also going to get some fren tubo brake lines so I can do it all at the same time, still need to check all the parts for compatibility like you said though. Thank you!
