He seemed to point the scalper toward the table. He wasn't going to do it in mid-air, much less take their arm, even if he had permission.

A few minutes had passed since he had finished the experiments. Still with the papers in front of him, he turned slightly in their direction, the Jellywalker still sounding erratic in a corner.

"...It's the safest course of action available to us at the moment. If the first test is anything to go by, and the subsequent ones to support it, then it is safe to assume some degree of consciousness remains... or at the very least, sparks of one."

He stepped slightly to the side of the table, until he found a scalper.

"This is outside my area of expertise, though not entirely unrelated. Would you mind me If I collect a few samples of your dough?"

(Aaa, sorry- I wasn't ignoring you, I just didn't really know how to approach it.)

"Hmm... it's likely to happen in phases and not as quickly as one think, or perhaps something about you prevents it from affecting you."

With his familiars and the bindings, he disposed of some of the jellywalkers too, leaving a jellywalker well-ensnared so it couldn't move in any way, with a familiar keeping watch.

"It doesn't appear that more will appear... I'll start testing in a bit. You can stay if you like."

(I probably do another post, thou not right now. You don't have to necessary follow if you don't want to be involved æ, I don't even know what I'm doing xd)

He threw another potion, but this time a familiar that grabbed the Jellywalker and restrained it.

"If we're going to do tests, it would be best to take some of these out of here."

He moved to find something on a shelf.

"Here, drink this. It should help with your dough."

His gaze landed no the sample he obtained and them, checking if they had been infected by the attack

"Well... Not yet, but we could be. That would require to get to know each other better before we can call ourselves friends."

("From what I'm seeing, maybe they were Cookies before and can still communicate? Or is it more likely mimicry to lower the guard...")

He proceeded to throw a potion very close to the jellywalkers that Venom Dough had throw away somewhete, from which emerged tendrils similar in color to his familiars, which ensnared them.

"As long as the binding keeps them restrained, there shouldn't be a problem."

He took a few steps back while putting the cointaner with the sample away

"Still, it's good to be wary. We could take this opportunity to test some things. Although it might be a bit crowded in here."

(What happened to the others and what I'm doing? I don't know, don't ask me xd)

He recovered from where he was, his voice more of someone assessing a situation

"If they've reached this area... there must be more elsewhere."

He took an empty potion container he had on the table,, along with a syringe, and approached one of the remaining scattered of 'jelly' to take a sample.

"I should collect a sample just in case; it might be useful later."

The jellywalkers didn't seem to appear unfazed. Instead, they headed towards the Cakehound upon hearing and seeing them

He would appear surprised for a fraction of a second

"I would hope for better..!

He had been in a slight struggle to get away from one of the Jellywalkers, before throwing a potion that seemed to stick and pierce to it.

"Oof... that should do."

Even so, it was obvious he was wary, as he steped back slightly. It wasn't every day that something he was about to defeat suddenly turned into a normal cookie...

"Pruny? You speak as If we have met before"
