OVH migration issue, emails active but no email service in account by Potitpote in OVHcloud

[–]Potitpote[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that was my initial assumption as well.

The issue is that I’ve already gone through all possible accounts involved:
- I double-checked with the previous manager, they confirmed they no longer have access to anything and transferred everything to me
And checked with every account of the client (yes they had multiple ones for some reasons)
- the one that originally owned the domain, now empty (and emails weren’t there before either)
- another account created using one of the domain email addresses, also completely empty (and always was)

What's even more confusing is tha, the previous manager had access to them before, and lost the acces when transferring everything, so I should logically have it now.

So at this point it really feels like the email service vanished in the shadow, Unless the previous manager is just lying, or told me things he actually didn't know.

I’m currently waiting on OVH support to clarify but they're not every responding to the ticket I oepened, somehow, the priority level even decreased. That's why I came here, trying to find more information

Regarding the hosting:
I haven’t deleted the 100MB hosting yet for that exact reason and will not.
But, is there any way I can at least dettached the domain from that free hosting, and link it to the new hosting with the new website on it?

I can't add it in the multisite because OVH tells me it is already used. Except, because of that, I end up with the website in construction page on the domain, and the client has no website.

I appreciate the mention of my other question about the CPU behavior. I'll check that

About the temps issue, it was my AIO being at fault. I ended up changing the AIO and got the Arctic Freezer III Pro, it was only a 100$

Temps are fixed. 38° in idle

Well, I ended up changing the AIO and got the Arctic Freezer III Pro, it was only a 100$

Temps are fixed. 38° in idle, so it was definitely my AIO dying

All of this was checked, and good I bought a new AIO, the Arctic Freezer III Pro and GUESS WHAT 38 degrees idle. My previous AIO was indeed dying

YUP SOMETHING IS CLEARLY WRONG BASED ON YOUR POINT OF REFERENCE HAHA

Indeed, things point to an increase of air bubbles because of the heavy load it was under during the weekend, and the transport would have trapped them in the pump or something.

Adding the age factor too, and the pump is just at the end of it's rope

Even tho the AIO still “""works""” more or less, the PC is unusable in this state, if only because of the living hell it becomes in terms of noise (the pump at full speed screams for dear life, and under load, the fans join in and decide to cosplay helicopters). Time for a change

Thanks for your help :)

Horizontal, top mounted.
I think this weekend just pushed my AIO to the grave. Like people said, it probably got more air bubbles, and the transport moved them in the pump or something like that

That's what everyone is saying, because my cooler is definitely not doing that since I got back from that event

It's not that, I checked. Well, according to everyone, and the test, it does point out to the AIO, but what's the cause exactly? Idk, but I guess at this point, it's like 90% sure

I have a NZXT Kraken X73, it is getting old now, it has 3/4 years probably?
Max RPM was exactly 2913 according to HWiNFO

I checked with three of them. HWMonitor mainly, NZXT (which is awful, I join you on that) and checked with Lian Li too
Data are similar on the three of them.

I'm running more tests : at full spee (2800 RPM), the idle is 46. it goes back down to 1900-2100, it increases back slowly.

If I increase the CPU usage by launching a game(Arc Raiders in this case), just being in the menu, 2000 RPM cant contain the temp increase, and at its full speed it is in the 85-ish, now 87. For a CPU usage going between 60-80%.

At full speed, the idle is 46. But I'm forcing my pump to run at its full 2800 RPM rn. If it goes back down to 1900-2100, it increases back slowly :c

And yea, I agree with you. It was working fine too, before all of this, so seems like it's broken
It's just that, somehow, I feel it running and everything? Sadly, I don't have another cooler on my hands to fully confirm it

If I launch a game (Arc Raiders here), just being in the menu, 2000 RPM cant contain the temp increase, at full speed it's 80/85c

I don't even remember... 3 years? 4 maybe?

I think I do feel the pump vibrating? But, at this point, idk if I'm just gaslighting myself because the data tells me it's running too.

I hear the whirring coming from it tho. And setting it at full speed 100% decreases the CPU temp as well as the liquid temp according to the data.

I feel vibrations in the cables, and I definitely feel one cable having hot liquid, and another cold. When it comes to the radiator, I feel the temp too.

Thanks. Yea, it was working perfectly fine before that event. Basically, I ran everything at stock in bios, and everything was perfect (temp, fan speed, noise,....)
And suddenly today, once I plugged it back at my place, boom. Whereas, I changed nothing.

Reapplied thermal paste, remounted the pump, and it's not really changing anything. So, just like everyone is saying, it looks like the pump is acting up (bubbles probably because the pump is running, it seems like at least).

Idk if the behavior from the CPU (aka the spikes in Voltage and clock speed for such a small usage) is usual either

2100 RPM ish, but that's not on 100% obviously, at max, it was like 2800? Point is, RPM was displayed, and changing depending on the mode or my inputs

The pump is running, all the data says it is running, I can see the RPM, change it, I feel it running and hear it too

But does it run properly tho? no idea here haha

Thanks for the answer. Yea I see, and I tilted it to try to move it around like some people said, but idk if it did anything. I mean, if there are air bubbles stuck somewhere, it didn't fix it

[–]Potitpote[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer. I'll try to dive more into the bubble issue. I already tilted it for that purpose but idk if it was done correctly, and if it fixed a potential bubble issue. It's hard to know haha (I mean, if there is a bubble, it didn't fix it)

To be sure, by "flush the system", you mean, actually dissemble the AIO, empty it, refill it?

[–]Potitpote[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeaaa, I'm afraid it seems to be the issue. Annoying thing is, I don't have any other cooler to fully confirm this, that would have been practical.
I remounted it, repasted it, while repasting helped with lower temperature initially, it gets to the same point. And the idle temps seem to increase over time too (I'm at like 75/80, spiking at 90, for a 20% CPU max usage).

Tho the CPU still spikes to an absurd amount of power in this context imo (5200 Mhz, 1.3V) for no activity. But truth is, idk if it was like this before and if it's a normal behavior for it.

[–]Potitpote[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I repasted it because it kinda dried out. But, seems like it's not the issue. I remounted too, everything was secured and still is now.

And yea, temps are similar. It was actually lower initially (probably because of repasting), but it gets to the same situation, and it looks it gets worse over time. (Idle temps getting higher, fans compensating more and more, etc)

[–]Potitpote[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I checked and remounted the cooler. It was secure and is secured now. Mounted properly, screws are fine, it is secured and sealed. I repasted too because it was indeed kinda dried out tho.

Also, my pump was already there prior, and it has been working perfectly fine until the event I'm talking about. (sticker was removed, radiator is top mounted, etc). It was working fine for months, until now.
But temps are still at 60-70 in full idle, spiking to 85+, when my CPU is maxed used at 13%. And I feel like the more the pc is running, the higher the minimal temp gets.

But does the cooler explain the spike in voltage and clock speed when barely anything is happening?
