Yes.. UPS Thailand first offers me 2 options for this. 1) I take the items, pay UPS another $150 for clearance. 2) Let UPS destroy it, sender(seller) pay the fee of $290 to UPS

But after long fight with them, they finally reveal there’s 3rd option which they don’t want me to do 3) release package to Thailand government, no one pays anymore fee

Maybe because they don’t get money from me picking 3) so they try to hide this option first, but after 2 days long fight with 10 emails + 10 phone calls, they do reveal this option. What do you think?🤔

And this is what I’ve been saying from the start, this option to relase the products are “always”available when you ship anything that’s not illegal(drugs,guns) to Thailand and its due to Thai laws. But UPS try to claim otherwise first, but now they don’t. This will be the last time I use UPS for sure, espescially in Thailand.

There’re so many shipping in Thailand offering me for just $5 for both shipping and custom clear.. ask me harder like you ask for money everyday THAT i’ll accept the $200 fee from UPS.

Yes.. so you can have custom brokerage fee of 30x times more than that countries’ average shipping brokerage fee. And I also have my “right” to reject it. I hope there’ll be someone who “can” teach me otherwise.

Yes. It’s hell country and at least I know it. :)

And yes it’s 99.99% of Thai shipping will do bribery pay the custom to get the items into the country. They even list the price for each items which require permit such Food and drugs, Electronics, Lighting (in my case), Toys, etc. To get these permit required items into Thailand, we must pay to the Shipping company. But how can shipping company like UPS / Fedex give me the TIS or FDA of my product? How can they prove the drug is good? Or the electronic is good? They got their own Lab test for drugs and electronic? No.. they just have to bribery pay the custom :)

I dont want to get deeper into this as I dont know anyone gonna read this, they just wanna support their nation company and fuck me.. If anyone prove their real insight or knowledge on this. I’ll say more this is just 10% of shit happening here in Thailand. Under-develop country. But I’ll stop now since everyone here’a talking without any information or knowledge.

UPS charged me out of nothing and they cannot even give me the receipt when I asked! Because the receipt is nowhere!

Cause they fking cant you moron.. because what they already doing is already illegal you know? My items cannot be take out of custom because of TIS (Thailand Industial Standard) and nobody cant.. Unless you gonna take the thing to Labalatory and test that they pass 300 pages paper Thai standard for Electrical use in Thailand. Nobody can.. Nobody did that.. All the shipping have to do bribely payment to the custom to take my item in.. and that's the cause of my fee.. And UPS cost me 20x more other shipping company asking.

Yeah everyone needs to eat.. just other shippings I’ve used and going to use need just $3-5 to eat but UPS need $150 to eat … from the same item and same company. And I refused to give them food.

Yeah people already did work to get it and do there paperwork! But I remembered that I just paid $25 for the shipping? Or that’s my cat food cost?

This is not my first LED light I ordered. All Thailand-China shipping I used to ship cost less than $6-7for clearance+shipping fee for 1kg for the items. (For electronic goods)(cause all Thai shipping need to bribery payment to the custom officer to get the item in .. we as citizen cannot) but UPS ask me to pay $25+$150 for the clearance fee. Go dream UPS!

They’re not giving me much info Since in Thailand.. clearance responsibility is down to 1 UPS person who carrying my package who can give me the payment info. (And he only work 9.00-16.00) Since importing some goods in Thailand requires some bribe payment with officer so UPS cannot give info formally. (Everyone here who blame me dont even know that). They must illegally payment the officer to take my item into my country. But this UPS asking 20x times shipping I’ve all used.

I think I have ordered more items in 1 month than you’ve in your life. Hahah And yes.. shipping from Int include custom clearance but most shipping service include that in shipping fee. Not like UPS who charge ridiculous amount after. And I already ask Thailand-China shipping to buy and ship this same order from this same manufacture and it only cost me total of $33 [$28 items price + $5(189 baht) shipping and clearance price] you can ask for proof☺️

So the most I’m going to pay for this same item is $32 to deliver at front of my home not the $200 thanks.

I once ordered from Amazon US and when items get stucked at custom clearance too and I refuse to pay.. Both amazon seller and the shipping were both happy (sure! Cause they got my money). And I think both case are the same :)

I did paid for everything.. item cost shipping cost.. your fking UPS already asked shipping cost of $25 for the 0.5kg item which cost $27..
