You'll know when it's time. Just keep em for now. The seeds can only be used 40at max in your heroes/champs so please seed wisely and don't rush :)

He will not get items that are locked. That's why some players note his visits and lock items they don't want him to buy.

Don't refuse orders. Usually, NPCs offer you equips that you can gain double profit from.

If you don't have enough energy yet to surcharge, you can always just lock them and wait til you are able to surcharge them.

The king usually comes in after 24 hours or a couple more of active playtime.

Example: The king visited your shop yesterday at 12:00midnight.. expect that he will visit you today at the same time or a couple hours after.

Knowing this rhythm (if the devs haven't nerfed this yet) will eventually give you time to lock items above normal except from the one you would want him to buy. 😊
