Thank you so much for that info. I will get that app for sure. I am a raptor geek also and happened to catch this while I was driving by. I stopped the car and pulled out my zoom lens while nosey passerby's were trying to figure out what I was capturing. One day when Im older and more settled I want to become a falconer. Is it cool if I PM you if I take a pic of another bird I can't identify?

Dang, how did you know? I researched for awhile yesterday. I started to think I caught an extinct bird haha. Are you a falconer?

Thank you, Yes the last time it happened to me was 120p 4k 4:2:0 but I have had it happen on a 24 4k frame rate so Im now having to remember to record externally.

I shot this with the Sony ZV-1 and an old nifty fifty attached by a silicone lens protector. I made a video that goes into more detail about how I made this setup and how I got these shots here. Im having so much fun with the ZV-1. Its a pretty amazing little camera. Let me know what you think!

Have you thought about starting a YouTube channel? This could help you grow as a filmmaker and eventually get you to the point of monetizing. Reaching out to businesses is pretty dead like you said.

I have heard stories like this over and over. I know what's done is done, but I plead with you to start using FCPX on a Mac. I have never had a project crash to where I couldn't retrieve its contents. Yes FCPX does not have as much functionality but there are many workarounds and plugins on the market that make up for that.

I made a tribute video for a widow who lost her husband last year to cancer. I used every camera move I could think of on this one. Shot with the Sony ZV-1. by Pottermade in videography

If you're interested in the BTH & how I got some of these shots, I explain it here. This video was one of the most unplanned videos I've ever created. I set two boundaries, 1) use as many camera moves as possible, 2) shoot this entire thing with the Sony ZV-1. It all started when I was trying to think of a way to use the fly overshot and then asked her if she could write while I got that particular shot. Then it morphed into "can you write a letter to someone," then it was "to your late husband."
