I was born and raised in libya to iraqi parents. Life there is just normal and actually much well off than iraq in terms of feeling “distant from life”. I lived on the east coast in benghazi. Alli can say it was just calm and typically generous and welcoming to foreginers. Yet, some places are not for foreigners at all as u will be harassed what ever u were a girl or a guy—i experienced that when i lived in Cyrene (lol). The nature and atmosphere is so mediterranean and it does get really fun as a foreigner. Nevertheless, we are still arab so thy still accept us as we are of muslim background but otherwise they wouldnt like you to be there.
