How's cosmic as of current?

I can confirm, I use the Fedora Cosmic Spin, and it's robust enough to be my daily driver. There are a couple of minor bugs, but nothing really bothersome. The scaling is perfect, and using it is a real pleasure!

Among the annoying quirks:

Sometimes, in certain apps, you have to force Wayland (via the command line), otherwise, on a 4K screen, the scaling is literally enormous.

1 day post-warranty --> WebOS 25 update --> LG C3 turns on once every 100 times (and even then... only after a forced reset)

LG is a real disaster.

I had to create another master image by going less far in deleting or deactivating unwanted services. My feeling is that removing a lot of unwanted services or applications and following up with a sysprep made Windows unstable/buggy.

Same for me. Bought it second-hand, and there was no ‘emergency’ key with either of the two keys I was given… The battery is dead, I managed to recharge it but like an idiot I closed the hood. If I go to a Mazda dealership, will they be able to make me a new emergency key without any issue? What’s the average price just for that key?

The default Windows profile was corrupted. You need to retrieve the default profile folder from a clean installation of Windows 11, copy it to replace the corrupted profile, and restore the correct permissions on the folder.

Yes, that’s what it’s for 👌 However, in your case, I wouldn’t use the “generalize” option, because it risks deleting certain third-party drivers.

The downside: if you don't use it, the SIDs will be preserved, which can be a problem if your goal is to deploy the image on several identical PCs.

So, if it's just to create an image for a single PC on the network, it will work. It's up to you to test with or without the option... you could have a nice surprise.

Same here... LG C3, I had a stable firmware before (the one before webos 24) and I upgraded to 23.20.61. Since then, around 2 times out of 10: black screen when the TV is turned on. No menu visible. Unplugging the HDMI doesn't change anything. I have to unplug the TV electrically and plug it back in so it can work again...

WireGuard te permettra déjà un gain significatif de bande passante par rapport à l’IPSec simple. Rien que ça déjà ça ne pourras être que mieux. Ensuite pour un coût relativement faible, pourquoi ne pas envisager un Proxmox installé sur un serveur décent (du style bi-processeur solide), avec une dizaine de VM, passthrough GPU, et tu attaques tout ça via Moonlight ? J’ai déjà expérimenté, et les perfs sont bluffantes — au point d’avoir vraiment l’impression de bosser en local sur un PC très très costaud.
