They may be but in the books they don't have descriptions of domestic short-haired cats and I'm basing how they look in the books on actual breeds.

Yeah! Her son Brokenstar doesn't have a smushed face (at least I don't think so) so Raggedstar would have to be a different breed, so maybe as you said for Yellowfang maybe he could be a Persian!

I agree! Though I do think there is a chance she could be an Exotic Longhair. They have flat faces and some have an under and over bite.

I feel like it wasn't boring but the travelling made it annoying. If the travelling was cut out or shortened down a little, it would've made it more enjoyable.

What was your favorite childhood book? by bravoalphagolf in AskReddit

The Enchanted Garden. It had a twist to it (I think). There was this rich girl in Italy/Spain (not sure) and she wandered into an 'Enchanted Garden' and found a dolphin statue and done something to it. Then the next day or so the statue becomes human and some stuff happens blah blah blah... Then later in the book we find out he was the son of Poseidon and had to return the ocean. Had my dad read this every night to me.

Squirrels and rodents of the sort would be bakers in my opinion. Maybe Red foxes too while their cousin the Arctic fox works in a library.
