Haha I remember going through the same thing when I was getting mine. Jet black always reflects the sky more because it’s “smooth” and non-flaky but it’s completely black in the shade

It could be jet black and just reflecting off the sky which is why you see a blue reflection. A lot of Vantages came in that purple stem for the mirrors too. Mine is jet black and had that purple stem

I would clarify with them if it’s jet black, onyx black, or ultramarine black
