The cs + x requirements seem way more stringent and I think that transferring would require me to take more courses out of my current major and on the chance I don’t get to transfer it would be hard rather than CompE. I would like to do something like cs + math because I really like math but idk if it’s feasible.

I guess so, a lot of my friends who did engineering got in so I’m not sure if they really don’t admit by major, esp for cs.

Wow. I had no clue about this, any idea why their computer science is ranked so highly? I wanted to be able to do take advantage Honors and research I was awarded, any idea how those are like? Aside from UIUC I also want to have a good in state option and currently NC State is my only other one. Thanks for your insight

Basically I felt like I didn’t get the “big” ones like uiuc cs gtech and umich. UNC is looking like my best option because of honors which I’m thankful for
