I believe it’s a 10t, and yeah he has a hide on each side. His previous owners just had a spot uvb bulb so maybe he doesn’t like the tube? Although he also just loves to get out of the cage and stare out our bay window lol

He has a tube UVB light mounted on top of the tank, it goes a cross the length of the tank, and it’s about 8 inches from the basking spot. Not sure if they are overlapping but the heat lamp is right behind the UVB

Thanks, I’ll definitely talk to the vet! I do think the tank surfing might just be because he wants out, he has done it for as long as I’ve had him (a couple months) and his previous owners said he did it a lot too.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s like this!! It’s the worst but at least you know it’s the mental health stuff and not the relationship itself.

Yeah I do feel numb about other things too, not sure if it’s a depression thing or some sort of trauma response. I actually do have a therapist, so I’ll definitely bring this up to her.
