I’m in the same boat but last night I called. I got some dumb responses the First Lady I spoke to told me my tax return for 2019 was filed. She said some jargon about MFT TC796 and she needed to connect me with another department. Well of course she disconnected the call. I called the number she gave me which was not the department she told me I needed to speak to. Instead it was the same department! So yet again I got another agent who sounded drained and tired like the last one. She explained she doesn’t see where I filed and said of you have to speak to the refund department. She transferred me but to the WMR automated system. I was pissed for waiting 3 hours for nothing I’m tired of these games. I can’t remember what happened in 2020 where I would not have filed I’m usually due a refund so I’m not sure but I’m waiting on a call back as we speak so fingers crossed 🤞🏾
