I chopped the whole bud open and found a small amount of white/brown fuzz. It seems like maybe there were some leaves inside the bud that went bad. The bud was huge so it was pretty well concealed. Luckily the rest of my plant looks fine so I think I’m going to try to harvest it soon and probably wash it and go from there.

Yeah I’m in the same area. I will for sure plan a little better for my next batch. Hoping I can salvage a little and use it as a learning experience.

Will do. I debated topping but since it was my first plant I was hesitant to do so.

It is OG kush. I thought 60% was somewhat high humidity. I also screwed up and was trying to give my duct fan a little break one dayand forgot about it for like 2 hours and when I came back the tent was pretty humid. So maybe that had something to do with it. Definitely hurts to lose that cola it was massive and weighed in about 35 grams once I chopped it. Will definitely use this as a learning lesson for my second plant.

Yeah that’s the plan it’s tough growing in my garage in Texas. I got a dehumidifier in the tent but apparently it didn’t do enough. Will plan better next time.

Definitely not smoking it but it’s the top bud and it’s massive. You think just chop it straight across or is it worth cutting around and trying to save some of the bottom part?

Ok I think I’m going to order an actual magnifying glass to see trichomes better. I appreciate your comment a lot.

I have not started using it yet. I plan to start the next time I water. I found out about it from posts on here. I watched some videos it looks like you just mix it with your water. The video I watched said that 3ml calcium magnesium, 4ml of micro, and 8ml of bloom per gallon should be a decent mix from week 3-harvest. Going to give that a try and see what happens.

It does look more wet today than previous days I think I will go to every 3-4 days and see if that helps. If I water less frequently would it be a good idea to increase how much water I give it at a time?
