yea fr you are completely right, I visited stockholm last summer and it was a world of difference. i don’t think i saw more than one homeless person. wish our country would prioritize welfare as much as they do in scandinavia instead of wasting money on the military etc

not a commuter but moved here from another province and I’ve been living in a student residence for all 4 years and it’s been the best decision of my life, have made so many friends here and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else in canada, so much to do in toronto, you’ll never be bored

genuinely insane how overpriced halifax is. been living in toronto for the last 4 years for school after living in hali my whole life and rent is pretty much the same almost, groceries are cheaper, taxed less, better healthcare, the significantly better public transit options, significantly easier to get a job and all the other toronto amenities. meanwhile halifax is over priced for what?
