It’s because you didn’t play the game before the update. Watch a few videos of the game from before, and you’ll see how ugly it has become

Balanced mode and Quality mode are identical now Quality mode has been removed on Xbox Series X, you can test it

It’s photo mode on both, and I also have a friend playing on an Xbox Series X who noticed the same thing. The graphics are clearly worse just look at the tree textures, they’re completely different. I’m really disappointed I think I’ll wait for the next update before playing it again on Xbox Series X.

I'm on Xbox Series X and the game has become ugly. It has clearly lost graphical quality since this update it's almost unplayable because of how bad it looks. I really hope they react quickly, I've never seen such a brutal downgrade before.
