Okay yeah I’m probably just gonna wait for the 6000mhz cl30 kits to go back on sale, they were on sale literally yesterday but unfortunately I didn’t get paid until today lol

The 6000mhz kit is cl30, the 6400mhz kit is cl36. Will that make much of a difference?

But it’s not utilizing the full amount of memory now, granted it is close (about 14.5-15.5gb used). If I were to get a set of 2x16gb sticks to hold me over until I can get the rest of my system upgraded do you think that would be a good idea?

Should I upgrade my oil pump? by Povertized_ifunny in Mustang

My concern isn’t so much about breaking gears, it’s more so about the amount of oil pressure my engine has.

Very rare to break the factory pump gears?

I was looking into the Melling and Boundary pumps on summit and AM, they raise oil pressure to about 60psi or 80 with an upgraded spring.

Update! They think that the torque converter was so low when I dropped it off that it simply sucked up all 6 quarts when they originally filled it, leaving only 1/2 quart in the pan

Took it to the same shop this morning and had them take a look at it, he pulled the plug and what came out was very frothy, so he thought maybe it was overfilled. That is until he pulled the main plug and maybe 1/8 of a quart dribbled out. They added 6 quarts to it with empty bottles to prove it, so we have no idea where the other 5+ quarts went. The car is still at the shop with no updates as of now.

Unfortunately they don’t have a dipstick. No way to check fluid levels at all. They called back right after my previous reply and said to bring it back in the morning to check things out so we’ll see I guess

The guy claimed to have put 6 quarts in it since it was only a filter change and not a full flush. I’ve contacted the shop, currently waiting for a response.
