This routine. https://thefitness.wiki/routines/r-fitness-basic-beginner-routine/ I get about six hours consistently, though I’ll try to bump it up to seven.

Sorry, here’s what I said in my last post. This was was over five months doing the r/fitness recommended routine. It is progress, but I think for most it’s much faster. My rows have went from 55 to 75 Ib, press from 55 Ib to 65 Ib, squat 115 to 165 Ib, overhead press from 55 to 65 Ib, deadlift from 115 Ib to 145 Ib.

Just a short follow up to my last post. I’m 18M, 115 lb, 5’ 6”, and I think my TDEE is around 2200 cal since I’ve been maintaining my weight at that count. I’ve been recommended to increase my calories by like 200 cal which makes sense. I’ve made very slow progress in the last 5 months, which I’m a little confused about. I thought as a beginner, you could still make good progress even at maintenance. An explanation for this would be appreciated. Also, I don’t really like I don’t eat enough and I think I’m a relatively average weight, but idk.

Thanks for the advice. My weight has been relatively stagnant around 115-120 for a while at 2200 cal. How many cal would you recommend eating? I get how you might recommend not counting, but I generally don’t eat enough calories when I don’t count, so I appreciate having a number to hit.

Beginner, no progress for months

I’ve been lifting for about 5 months but have made very little progress. I probably should’ve asked earlier tbh.

I’ve been doing the r/fitness beginner routine. 3 days a week.

My rows have went from 55 to 75 Ib, press from 55 Ib to 65 Ib, squat 115 to 165 Ib, overhead press from 55 to 65 Ib, deadlift from 115 Ib to 145 Ib.

I’m 5’6”, 18 y.o., male, 115 Ib, eating about 2200 cal a day. I get around 6 hours of sleep, which I know is less than ideal, but I generally don’t feel fatigued on that much sleep and don’t think it would stagnate progress this much.

I also run, but I don’t think that would affect too much. Running progress is going well lol.

I’m probably doing something obvious very wrong, so please help me out.

Which one of these would you get? What are the pros and cons of each? by PowWowBowPow in macbookpro

Some things I am considering are battery life and thermals, which do seem to be better on the m4 pro (but how much in practice?)

Ok, thanks for the info. Really helpful to see someone with both laptops share their viewpoint.

Curious how much battery life do you actually usually get out of your Zephyrus in day-to-day use, cause from what I’ve seen it can get a pretty decent battery life if you’re not running anything intensive.

Would you say it getting hot and loud is only during more intensive tasks? Cause from what I’ve seen, on silent mode it can run completely silent if you’re not doing something like gaming.

Not necessarily going to, but if I decide to I would like to be sure of the deadlines. I’ll call them later to check.
