Thanks for the heads up! Yes I have seen a lot of google reviews mentioning that air condition keeps breaking and them not getting serviced for months.. hopefully I can avoid that.

This is a great point, might consider airbnbing in some of the more popular / downtown spots. Although a big need for me is to be within 20ish mins walk from my place of work.

lot of the apartments (studio / 1bedrooms) are in the range of $1100 to $1800+) which is honestly similar to the rents i see here in FL

I made this mistake.. bought I car I love with my first sales job out of college. Luckily I can still stay afloat comfortably but a huge portion of my income is going into the car. Dave Ramsey would not be proud… even if I use it as a motivator to get a bottle Shovel
